The name of the victim of a crash near Wall last Wednesday morning has been released.
Authorities identified the driver as 41-year-old Ramon R. Two Bulls of Box Elder. He died from injuries sustained in the crash. According to the preliminary investigation, Ramon was driving a 2014 GMC Yukon eastbound when the vehicle veered out of its lane, entered the median, struck a crossover, became airborne, and overturned. The incident occurred around 8:39 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, along Interstate 90 near mile marker 109, approximately one mile west of Wall.
His passenger, 38-year-old Marcus Two Bulls of Rapid City, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
