South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden will officially cut the ribbon on the state’s new women’s prison during a ceremony in Rapid City this morning.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the new facility located at 1020 N. Creek Drive, Rapid City, SD 57703.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks a significant milestone for the new correctional facility, which is expected to play an important role in South Dakota’s corrections system. State officials, community leaders, and guests are expected to attend the event as the facility is formally introduced.
