Fire crews successfully knocked down a large fire Tuesday at L&S Trailer Repair and Welding on Box Elder Road after flames engulfed the business, spread to nearby U-Haul trailers and ignited a small grass fire. The blaze was reported around 2 p.m. and prompted a major multi-agency response.
The City of Box Elder credited local firefighters, law enforcement and numerous neighboring departments for containing the fire under hot, dry conditions. Community partners also assisted, with The Hangar Pub providing water and cooling space for responders and Midco supplying drinks for crews.
No further details on damages or the cause were immediately released.
