A 51-year-old Summerset woman has been indicted on drug- and firearm-related charges by a Meade County grand jury. Shannon Butler faces charges including possession of a firearm by a person with a prior drug conviction, unauthorized possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A warrant has been issued for Butler’s arrest, with bond set at $2,500 cash or surety. Authorities are seeking information on Butler’s whereabouts and ask the public to contact the Summerset Police Department at 605-721-6806.
