A shooting at a Rapid City apartment complex sent two people to the hospital, according to police.
Officers were called just before 7:40 p.m. Tuesday evening to a building in the 700 block of E. Anamosa Street after multiple reports of gunfire. When they arrived, officers found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Police remained at the scene for several hours as investigators processed evidence and reviewed video footage from the area. Authorities say they are working to identify the person responsible for the shooting, though no arrests had been announced as of late Monday.

Police have been engaging in ongoing coordination with apartment management to improve safety measures at the property and reduce the risk of future violence.
