Three people were arrested late April 6 after a traffic stop on East Highway 44 led to the discovery of methamphetamine and other violations, according to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy stopped a vehicle around 11:10 p.m. for a windshield violation and failure to yield. The driver, 34-year-old Fanny Holyrock of Pierre, was found to have open alcohol containers and drug-related items in the vehicle. A baggie that field-tested positive for methamphetamine was also located.
Holyrock was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, failure to yield, and no proof of insurance. Passengers Jesse Runsagainst, 37, and Shelby Noisyhawk, 28, both of Rapid City, were also arrested on possession charges, with Noisyhawk additionally held on a parole violation. All three were taken to the Pennington County Jail.
