A first-grade teacher at South Park Elementary School is gaining national attention.
Megan Knutson is competing in the nationwide America’s Favorite Teacher contest, which awards one educator a $25,000 grand prize. Knutson says if she wins, the money would go directly back into her classroom and school. Knutson would also receive a trip to Hawaii and her story would appear in Readers Digest Magazine.
