Governor Larry Rhoden is scheduled to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony today for the new Wildland Fire building in Rapid City.
The event will be held at the Wildland Fire Campus, located at 3305 W. South Street, beginning at 2 p.m
The new facility will serve as a hub for wildland fire operations and support efforts to enhance fire preparedness and response across the region. State officials and local leaders are expected to join the governor for the ceremony marking the building’s official opening.
