Police are investigating an early-morning robbery reported Monday at a business on Jackson Boulevard.
Officers were dispatched around 1:35 a.m. to the 2100 block of Jackson Boulevard, where an employee reported that an unknown man entered the business and handed over a note demanding money. The employee told police the suspect appeared to simulate having a handgun by keeping his hand inside the pocket of his sweatshirt.
The employee complied, and the suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses described the suspect as a Native American man between 20 and 35 years old, wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a blue bandana, a large chain necklace, and a black backpack. He was last seen heading north from the business.
