The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office recently honored three Care Campus employees for a life‑saving rescue and recognized Sheriff Brian Mueller for three decades of service.
Detox Supervisor Nicole Williams, Transport Officer Bryson Schwartz and Detox Technician Lucas Neuhardt each received the Medal for Meritorious Service. Officials said Williams noticed a female client making abnormal snoring sounds and turning gray, indicating a medical emergency. After calling for an ambulance, Schwartz and Neuhardt performed two‑person CPR, ultimately saving the woman’s life.
Sheriff Mueller was also recognized for 30 years with the sheriff’s office. He thanked his colleagues and the community, saying it is a privilege to serve alongside others dedicated to public safety.
Sheriff’s office leaders said the recognitions highlight the teamwork required to protect both the community and those cared for at the Pennington County Care Campus.
