A Rapid City man has been sentenced to more than two years in federal prison after pleading guilty to possessing ammunition as a prohibited person.
Bradley Two Eagle, 27, was sentenced May 8 to two years and six months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment.
Two Eagle was indicted in November 2025 and later pleaded guilty to the charge in January.
The case stems from an October 2025 incident in which Rapid City police responded to reports of gunshots. Officers made contact with Two Eagle, who provided a false name before fleeing and tossing ammunition as he ran. He was apprehended, and officers recovered the ammunition along with a methamphetamine syringe.
Authorities said Two Eagle was prohibited from possessing ammunition due to a prior felony conviction and because of drug use.
Two Eagle was remanded to federal custody following sentencing.
