The Pennington County Commission has certified the results of the June 2 primary election, approving the canvass in a 4-0 vote.
County Auditor Sabrina Green presented the results, showing 20,321 of the county’s 87,871 registered voters cast ballots, a turnout of about 23%.
The election included Republican primaries for governor, Legislature, county offices and congressional seats, as well as local races and school board contests.
Results showed strong Republican turnout, no Democrats or independents ran for auditor or the commission district seats.
