Drivers should prepare for heavier traffic this weekend in the area of Elk Vale Drive and E. Mall Drive as the 37th annual Rushmore Cup Soccer Tournament is held at the Dakota Fields Complex.
Beginning today, temporary traffic signals will be installed at the intersection to help manage increased traffic tied to the tournament, which is hosted by the Black Hills Rapids. The signals are expected to remain in place through Monday.
Motorists traveling in the area are advised to use caution, watch for changes in traffic patterns, and allow extra time to reach their destinations during the event.
