Gold production at South Dakota’s Wharf Mine dipped slightly in 2025, but rising prices drove a significant increase in overall revenue.
Owned by Coeur Mining, the mine produced 97,327 ounces of gold, generating $334.1 million in sales. Silver output also declined, totaling 135,722 ounces with $5.1 million in revenue.
The operation employs 266 workers and contributed $16.9 million in state taxes. It also supported local communities with $230,000 in donations to area organizations and charities during the year.
