U.S. Rep. Dusty Johnson is calling on the U.S. Postal Service to address ongoing mail delivery delays affecting parts of South Dakota, particularly in the Sioux Falls area and surrounding communities.
Johnson recently sent a letter to the Postmaster General highlighting continued service issues in southeastern South Dakota. While postal delivery has improved in some areas of the state, he said residents are still experiencing delays in receiving mail.
Johnson said he is working with postal leadership to improve service and encouraged South Dakotans experiencing delivery problems to submit feedback to the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General.
The congressman said resolving the delivery issues remains a priority to ensure residents and businesses receive reliable mail service.
