PIERRE, S.D. – Gov. Larry Rhoden announced a $1 million Future Fund award to support Elevate Rapid City’s development of the Northline Business Park, a new industrial and commercial site aimed at attracting business growth in western South Dakota.
The funding will help pay for land acquisition and public infrastructure needed to prepare the property for development. Elevate Rapid City and local donors have also committed $1 million to the project.
Under the agreement, Elevate Rapid City will prepare the site for development, market it to prospective businesses, and provide progress reports to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
