RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Police Department is partnering with community advocate Cody Two Bulls of Oglala for the annual “Fill a Patrol Car with School Supplies” campaign to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
During a press conference announcing the initiative, Two Bulls highlighted the importance of ensuring children have the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom. He encouraged community members to contribute backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other essential school items for students in need.
Jamie Kirsch of the Rapid City Police Department thanked Two Bulls for his continued support and partnership in the effort. Two Bulls, a recipient of the Citizen Honor Award, said providing school supplies can make a meaningful difference for families and students facing financial challenges.
The annual drive aims to collect essential classroom supplies and distribute them to local students before the start of the school year.
