SOUTH DAKOTA – The South Dakota Unified Judicial System is asking court users across the state to share their experiences through a month-long public survey.
The anonymous and voluntary 2026 Court User Survey is open throughout September to anyone who has interacted with the state’s court system, including defendants, witnesses, attorneys, law enforcement officers, service providers and members of the public.
Officials say the survey asks about visitors’ experiences, including how easy it was to find information, access services and navigate the court system.
The survey is available in both English and Spanish through QR codes posted at courthouses statewide and online through the Unified Judicial System website.
Court officials emphasize that responses are confidential and will not affect any court case. The feedback will be used to help improve court services, accessibility, communication and public trust in South Dakota’s judicial system.
