GILLETTE, WYO. – Fire crews are responding to a wildfire burning in Campbell County northwest of Gillette.
The blaze, known as the Broken Jaw Fire, has burned at least 226 acres, according to the latest information available.
The fire was first reported Wednesday afternoon, and aerial firefighting resources have been assisting crews on the ground as they work to contain the fire.
At this time, officials have not released a cause for the wildfire, and the level of containment remains unknown.
