RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City residents will have two opportunities this month to provide feedback on a transportation study focused on Interstate 90 and U.S. Highway 16B.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation will host public open houses on October 20 and October 21 at the Dahl Arts Center. Officials say both meetings will cover the same information and are part of the Rapid City Major Investment Study.
Transportation planners will discuss current conditions along the two corridors and gather public input on future transportation needs and potential improvements.
Residents who cannot attend the meetings may submit written comments through November 6 using the project website or by contacting the Department of Transportation directly.
SDDOT officials say community feedback will help guide long-term planning efforts for two of Rapid City’s most heavily traveled transportation corridors.
