STURGIS, S.D. – Families gathered in downtown Sturgis Saturday for the seventh annual Sturgis Fall Festival, a community event featuring live music, games and seasonal activities.
Hosted by the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, the festival centered around Harley-Davidson Rally Point and included pony rides, tractor-pulled hayrides, a Touch-a-Truck display and a variety of vendor booths.
This year’s celebration highlighted the potato, with activities including potato sack races, coloring contests, and other themed events. New attractions included a Jack-o’-Lantern Show & Shine competition for carved pumpkins.
Adults also enjoyed local beer and wine tastings, while live music and a fall vendor market kept visitors entertained throughout the day.
