RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City residents will have an opportunity to meet with local elected officials this week during an informal community town hall event at City Hall.
Ward 5 City Council members Laura Armstrong and Callie Meyer are hosting a “Friday Pie Day” meeting at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Circle of Friends Community Room at City Hall.
The event is open to residents from all areas of Rapid City and is designed as a casual meet-and-greet with no formal agenda. Armstrong and Meyer say they will provide updates on city issues while giving attendees the chance to ask questions, share concerns and offer feedback.
City officials say the gathering is intended to encourage open communication between community members and their elected representatives in a relaxed setting.
